Dry Coarse Sands

The Earth Commodities Bundaberg resource is unusual in that it can deliver material from below 250 microns up to 5mm. During various screening processes, coarse sand grading's are produced that range from 5mm+3mm used in fish tank aquariums to 1mm Filter Sand used as a residential pool filter medium.

Dried Fine Sands

Fine sands may be separated or combined on site to meet virtually any specifications. Currently there are nine specific off-the-shelf grading's ranging from -1.5mm down to -250um. Fine sands are commonly used by foundries, in textured finishes, and fillers in epoxy flooring.

Washed Only Sands

During the sand washing process, the sand particles are separated into three main grading's Two of these grading's are stock piled and supplied to a number of clients for use in various applications. Where dried silica sand is not required, washed only silica sand is available.
